- Implementation of approved plans and programs.
- Follow-up on all studies and designs for university projects that are approved by the administration or contracted consultants.
- Choosing the design and review teams for each project, with clear plans to complete the required tasks.
- Preparing lists of consultants who are invited to participate in the studies and design competitions.
- Examining the offers of engineering consultancy.
- Preparing a list of conditions and technical specifications for the designs for public tender.
- Providing interior design and decoration engineering works or supervising their contractors.
- Preparing the annual budget requirements for new projects and projects under design.
- Quality control of project documents.
- Overcoming any obstacles that impede the studies and project designs.
- Ensure the implementation of the works according to the required specifications and submit it to the project manager.
- Extrapolating future problems, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and working to avoid or reduce them.
- Determining the needs of human resources, equipment and materials and following up on their provision.
- Determining the training needs of the department's employees to nominate them for the appropriate training programs.
- Preparing periodic reports on the department's activities and achievements, and suggestions for developing performance
